Here's an idea some Tazewell County businesses, especially fast foods, need to think about. Too often, parents just let their kids roam freely without regard to the other customers.

I agree. Sometimes a peaceful meal in the non-smoking section of a restaurant just doesn't happen and the meal can be ruined.

In my opinion, people who raise uncontrollable brats are beneath contempt. Either they are too stupid or too lazy or too deficient in moral fiber (or any combination of the 3) to raise their kids properly. In any event, they are pathetic, and ultimately you have to feel sorry for the children, despite how irritating (or even destructive) they might be.

Some children are bad seeds no matter what, but most often if you see an unruly child, you can safely blame it on incompetent parenting.

The epidemic of screaming, rampaging brats is just another symptom of the mental disorder known as liberalism. As long as we continue to divorce our society from the concept of right and wrong, and the more we refuse to impose consequences for bad behavior, the worse things will get.

I have a friend that use to work at one of the stores in the mercer mall, she said that every day that school was closed or let out early that parents would drop off their children and the children would spend the whole day roaming around in the mall until the parents got off work or whatever..........I couldn't believe it! WOW

That's par for the course. I sometimes wonder why some people bother having kids at all, other than the obvious stupid reasons, of course, such as to get additional welfare benefits, or in the desperate and idiotic hope that having a kid will either repair their broken relationship or trap the other person into staying with them.

It's no wonder the Jerry Springer show is so popular...the sad and depressing fact is that an alarming number of humanoids can actually relate to its depraved goings-on.
